In May of 1968, three kids amuse themselves (and Bill McKeon) inflating balloons on a quiet street in the New Section. The girl in the middle is Maureen Nixon (now Davids). The boy on the left is Robert Benecke and the boy on the right is Kevin Devine. The block is Aster Court between Channel and Devon Avenues.  Unfortunately, Robert was killed in a house fire at 62 Aster Ct. in 1970.(Courtesy Bill McKeon)
