Artie Stich: I still haven’t found my old, rusty clamp-on roller skates. However, today I was in an antique shop in Smithville, NJ (near Atlantic City) and guess what??? Not only did he have a "Clamp on your Sunday shoe" set with a key on the strap but also a "Sneaker Clamper" set. I had forgotten about the later as I have seen, but never owned, a pair of them. The proprietor was kind and let me take pictures of both sets. The "Clamp on your Sunday shoe" name I got from a posting on the message board that also indicated that your large and small toe would meet if the skates were used on your sneakers. You can see the "Sneaker Clamper" set has much larger toe grips that would go over the sneaker top. They are for sale in the store for $22.00 a pair.
