A Gift -- Deputy Chief Henry J. Mulvehill presents the proceeds of a benefit dance to Chief Woods, head of the Gerritsen Beach Volunteer Fire Department, who was injured at a fire recently. The Gerritsen Beach Volunteers are the only active members of a volunteer firefighting organization in Brooklyn. Fireman John Bennis, chairman of the committee on arrangements for the dance is at the left of the chiefs.
