Fred - You raise some interesting memories. I remember one 4th of July in particular one of my uncles brought more firecracker than anyone person could ever use. Literally boxes. We, my brothers, neighbor kids and kids I never saw before lit firecrackers all day into the night. Then the display fireworks started. Our only limits were we had to stay in our yard with the firecrackers. The next day, I can still see it in my mind, the entire yard look as if a million newspapers were shreded. The entire yard was covered.
