And here I was with a guilty conscience for the past 40+ years about starting fires in the weeds. It looks like you had literally blazed the trail for me. Loved the story about your finger. I have a similar story with a starters pistol. Mine only resulted in a powder burn, but it sure did scare the hell out of me.
