My grandparents Max & Yetta Schneider operated a candy store on Everet Avenue across the street from Dr. Baronberg's office. I was born there in 1944, my dad was overseas fighting the Japanese, so Mom and I lived with my grandparents. I lived there till I was 4 and then moved to Coney Island Avenue. In 1959 we moved back to the new section of Gerritsen Beach and lived on Burnett Street. My parents sold the house in 1981 and moved to Royal Palm Beach, Florida where they still reside. My brother and sister live in Virginia. My sister works for the court system and my brother is Captain of the Arlington Fire Department. I live with my husband in Maine.
