Mike, It was good reading your messages on the Gerritsen Beach site. I remember an Allen Karnback from Resurrection. Got to be a relative! Are you still in the Beach? I seem to remember Allen living in the Old Section. Would like to hear more. Your story about Tom the Ice Cream man brings back alot of memories. I remember Tom the Good Humor Man very well. Later he gained some competition from Mr. Minkey. Minkey lived on Aster Ct. and drove a motor scooter. Before both Tom and Mr. Minkey there was an ice cream scooter driven by Mr. Gibons. The Gibons' lived on the corner of Dictum and Bijou. I remember one of his sons Bobby Gibons.
