Al mentioned "Lenny The Lump" in a previous post. That reminded me of "Freddie The Ant Eater" who used to live in a bungalow down around where Danza's is now. Does anyone remember him?
Also, how about "Praying Mary" who lived somewhere on Bartlett Pl. She would walk down the street mumbling to herself and then all of a sudden she would drop down on her knees, raise her hands to the heavens and start praying really loud.
I also remember two Indians, we used to call one of them "Chief", he lived around Kay Ct. The other one was "Buck Crow" how lived in the basement of Bruno's on Bartlett Pl. I have fond memories of both of them.
