Ginny: I'm going to copy down the instructions for sending photos in this message so everyone can see them, but they also appear in an instructions page; the link to this page is in the upper right corner of the Memories page (there's a picture of me there too so that you know who you're writing to.
Sending Photos There are several ways to get photos to me. (1) The easiest for you is probably just to mail them to me. I'll scan them and return them. I promise to do so promptly. (2) If there is a copy shop around that does color copies (not the self-serve machines), a color Xerox works just as well and you don't have to worry about the originals. They cost about $1.50 each and you can usually put more than one picture on a page. (3) If you have access to a scanner, you can scan photos and e-mail files. To save uploading time, send them in 72-dpi jpg format. I will convert, crop, and resize files as needed. Be sure to send a caption with each photo; dates are especially important.
Contributing Stories Old stories are my favorite. Old friends are next, yours or mine. If you're just saying "hi," the Guestbook is the easiest place to leave a message. Longer stories are easier to read in the Message Board. If you're not confortable with the posting process, send me an e-mail. Try to let me know if e-mail is private or for posting. Also let me know if you would like me to clean up the typing. I'm an editor by trade, so I can do so easily, but I won't unless you tell me to.
