Alby, I never heard about a plane crashing in the creek, but would love to hear about it from anyone who does. I do remember 2 military jets crashing into each other in a thunderstorm out over the water, one jet landed in the Coney Island train yards and tghe pilot parachuted, landing on Coyle St. Many people claimed to have seen him. That was around 1960 or 61. It was front page Daily News. Anyone remember?
