Glen,.. nice to see you here. Yes, there was quite a lot of horseshoe crabs down at the end of our court..Landis. They were more around high tide. Sometimes there were male & female crabs, piggy-back. Its a shame what we used to do to them, but we were just youngsters. They really caused ant threat to anybody. There was a myth that yiou will step on their pointy tails and loose your foot. Oh, and we believed that. Anyway, it was just another part of growing up on Gerrittsen Beach.
