I just discovered this fantastic website. I moved away from Gerritsen Beach in 1971 and have not kept in touch with too many people. My father (Scotty Arscott, now deceased) used to own "Scotty's Photography Studio" on Gerritsen Avenue near P.S. 277. My sister Pat Arscott Donlon used to live in the Beach but has moved to Jersey with her husband Jack, son Jack and daughter Mary Ellen; however, her son Gregory and his wife still live on Lester Court. I used to live at 20 Melba Court. The McBurney's (Tessie, Jim, Kathy and Jimmy) lived next door and the Luzino's (Joe, Clara, Karen, Joanne and Bobby) lived across from us. Some people may remember my brother Bob or my sisters Pat (which I already mentioned) or MaryLou Fetter (or married John Fetter from Garland Court). MaryLou and John live on the island and Bob and his family live in the D.C. area. I graduated from Sheepshead Bay HS in 1968 and would love to hear from anyone that remembers me or my family.
