posted January 30, 2000 11:43 S=ET Howdy Pat and all. I was standing there when the scenes were shot and watched that convertable come around the corner time after time. I knew Mrs. Reigler (spelling?) well since her son Joe was my friend. It was her that was hanging laundry in the yard across the street from where she actually lived. This was probably because she was photogenic. |

posted January 29, 2000 16:45 S=ET I WAS THE BABY IN THE SHOT WITH THE WOMAN HANGING WASH ON THE LINE, MY MOTHER SPOKE OF THE MOVIE ALL THE TIME, THE WOMAN WAS MRS. ALBRECHT OF 108 BEVY COURT. THE REIGLERS WERE ACROSS THE STREET AT 109. I MUST SAY I REALLY GOT A KICK OUT OF YOU RUNNING THE STORY,OF COURSE I DO NOT REMEMBER, BUT I DO REMEMBER HEARING THE STORY THAT IT WAS TONY CURTIS FIRST MOVIE. posted January 24, 2000 21:45 S=ET For June Imburgio, Hi June, yours was the first personal message, that I have received on the Gerritsen Memories Guestbook. What a nice surprise to hear from you. We were glad to see you at Jim's party in March, it has been over 35 years at least, maybe more, since we had seen each other. All is well here, keeping warm, and enjoying my computer, and the Gerritsen Beach Web site. Happy to see you found it. It's the best thing that has happened for all the residents of the beach and those that have moved away. It have brought us all closer together again. Hearing from people that we haven't heard from, sometimes even forgotten about in years. It's really great. Thanks again for writing. Estelle |

My mother (96 yrs young) was very good friends with Mrs. Campbell & I would like to get in touch with her. Thanks for any help you may give me. FYI - Matt Thompson is my cousin, Danny Rogers is my brother-in-law, & Bill Barker is my brother-in-laws brother (Joe Barker) Small world with this wonderful site!!!
